I hope the Nats don’t keep Wood in AAA in an effort to squeeze an extra year of control out of him. I’d love to see them let him fly. If he struggles, then send him down. Once he starts in the minors, he’s going to stay for at least 3 weeks to ensure a 7th year of control. Let him play!
I wish the Nats would release Joey now! As for Wood, love him. But maybe a few games at AAA to start the season?
